Person Removal from Photo

Removing people from photographs is one of the more difficult photo editing jobs to do.  It really depends on the individual photograph, and whether the person to be removed is close to others or standing some distance away.  In the example above, the young man to be removed was just enough separated from the young ladies.  

Another consideration when removing people from photographs, what do you fill in the photo with after removal?  In the example above, there was a nice decorative gold drape that we could duplicate to fill the blank space left by the removal of the young man.
